You're Glowing!

After a really draining/annoying afternoon at the office yesterday, all it took was the clerk at the produce market to say, "You're glowing!" to turn my day around.  I wasn't particularly glowing on the inside, so I'm thinking some recent acquisitions from Sephora were helping me hide the stress...

Many friends have recommended Josie Maran's Argan Oil, and after just a couple of weeks using it, I am sold. A few drops on my face before I put on my moisturizer, a few drops on my hair before I style it-- glowing indeed.  

Sephora had a promotional boxed set for just a few dollars more than the oil alone, and I'm glad I indulged.  This blush stick was in it, and I don't think I'll ever go back to dry blush.  It makes me feel sun-kissed even in the middle of an East Coast winter...

Yves Saint Laurent's Shocking eyeliner is better than any brand I've ever used.  I had always used a pencil for fear of looking too severe with liquid liner, but the tip on this is very fine so it works well.  I suffer from oily eyelids, and finally-- eyeliner that stays put all day!

Nars Cruella Matte Lip Pencil... Sometimes a little red lipstick can do wonders.  I normally reserve this look for evenings, but with a little gloss over the top, daytime red lips are fierce...

P.S. Speaking of glowing, I loved Gretchen Mol's look at the SAG Awards...

She lives in my neighborhood and I see her from time to time.  This morning I saw her walking her adorable son to pre-school.  He was wearing pipe-cleaner glasses, and it melted my heart.  TOO cute!
