Blair Waldorf is in the Building!

Blair Waldorf is my favorite character on Gossip Girl, so when we moved into our new apartment building last May, I almost fainted when I learned that Leighton Meester is a fellow resident. 

Anytime I see her in the lobby or have an encounter on the elevator, I play it really cool, but then I run into our apartment SCREAMING to the Prince, "OMG-- Leighton sighting!"  And don't even get me started on the episode where she was sporting this Robert Rodriguez number that also happens to reside in my closet:

Needless to say, I am very excited that Gossip Girl is back with an all-new episode tonight.  Aside from my love for all things Blair and Serena, I cannot get enough of the amazing set design on this show.  It is NYC real estate envy at its finest.

Christina Tonkin is the woman responsible for these inspiring spaces.  It's no surprise she was also behind the sets on Sex & the City.

The Waldorf duplex is traditional with youthful, glamorous accents.  The custom cushions on the Ghost chairs really make the dining room.  

  Blair's room and closet are perfect for a pampered princess.  But I could move right into Serena's:

I know I'm not the only blogger smitten with the design aspects of the show.  Holly from Things That Inspire was so obsessed with these sconces that she had a lighting designer copy them!
